I’ve been staring at this screen for a good long time trying to figure out how to write this post. How do I say good-bye to something that’s been such a huge part of my life for the last 6 years? Good-bye to something that started as a whim and has turned into some of the best moments of my culinary career so far? I’m not sure I’ll do any justice to it. But, I’m busy friends. I’ve finally figured out what I want to do when I grow up and I’ve spent the last year chasing my dreams. I’m still working full-time and have thrown myself into culinary school all while trying to keep this family running and thriving. There’s only so much time.
So this is my official good-bye and deepest, most heart-felt thank you. Thank you for all of your comments and emails over the years. To a blogger, that is such a huge reward. This site will be up for at least another year, to give you a chance to keep visiting and to print off all of your favourites. Use it and share it and I’ll still answer your questions and emails as they come in. And, I’ll still be writing for some of my other blogging friends, so you won’t be entirely rid of me.
Guys, I’m excited about what these next years might bring. I’m exhausted from the demands of school, work and life but I’m so happy with where I am at this moment. I’m ready to put myself out there and put these culinary skills to the true test. I’m just starting a new chapter on this food loving journey.
